Carol Welch is the author of the Forest Financial Group (FFG) Service Model and a human resource expert. As the second employee hired at FFG, Carol has worked for FFG for more than nine years. Her responsibilities are many, including the management of Client Managers as well as directly managing key accounts. Carol’s human resource experience also makes her a valuable Practice Leader for HR-related consulting projects.
Carol has more than 12 years of experience in Human Resources. Before joining FFG, she served as director of human resources for a mid-sized international company. In this position, she developed and managed local and international benefit programs as well as provided HR due diligence and integration services for new company acquisitions. She also previously worked as senior manager of employee development, leveraging her abilities to train and work with all levels of employees. In this position, she led company-wide communication campaigns promoting benefit offerings.
Carol earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Business Administration from Illinois State University. She is a proud member of the Society for Human Resource Management where she maintains the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Carol remains active is various local SHRM chapters and Human Resource focus groups.
